Welcome to week 8 in Kakano and we hope all our dads and granddads are having a lovely Father’s Day.
Your child may have already shared the amazing news about Xander. He headed back to Starship Hospital on Thursday for surgery. This was very successful and his trache has been removed. Please keep Xander and his family as he recovers in Starship.
Registrations for summer sports are now open. Parents can register via the google form which can be accessed from our school website under ‘Our Sports - Registration Forms’. Summer sports offered are touch rugby and cricket. Registrations close Wednesday 16th September and no late entries can be accepted.
This week is Tongan Language Week.
We have Go4It on Tuesday which all our children are really enjoying and don’t forget your library books on Friday. Our children love going to the library to choose new books.
I would like to thank Julian and his family for bringing us some chicks for the class last week. The children loved having them in the class and they are very excited about the eggs in the incubator hatching.
